Storage clipboard that was converted into portable interactive communication tool for school

We purchased a storage clipboard, applied velcro, and behavior cue cards to create this portable device to help Evan communicate his needs with his teachers aide at school.

Fraction Circles File Folder Game

I created this file folder game as a matching task when trying to introduce the concept of fractions.

This is how we presented tasks to my son during summer tutoring sessions. He would make a choice about which task he would do first. Once he completed it he would get a few minutes on the computer. He would place the competed task pic in the "all done". He would repeat this sequence untill all picture squares were removed and placed into the "all done" pouch. It was a structured way of showing him what was to be expected of him.

R.O.C.K.E.T.S Rules

I created this hands on matching/sequencing tool for my son to learn the school rules at the start of the year. The Anna Rockets use the word "Rockets" to define rules that start with the beginning letter of each of the letters in the word rocket.
Respect,Ownership,Character,Kindness,Effort,Tolerance, and Safety.
I then used or Proloquo2Go program and printed out symbols/rules for each. I would have my son match the words to the matching letter and then match the rule . A fun hands on meaningful tool for him to use.
